School is over

Oh my goodness, I can't believe school is over for this year. Yesterday was the official last day, but today the whole K4 grade went to a local park and played for a couple of hours. The kids had a blast! Of course it took Emmy a good 20 minutes to get acclimated, but that's her. Afterwards several moms went to Joe's Crab Shack and asked me to join them. It was great, I didn't meet many parents this year because I wasn't up at school much. It was so nice to sit and talk to some fellow moms.

I've really spent the last few years volunteering at church and my MOPS group but I think I need to focus my efforts at school. I'm a firm believer you have to contribute to any group and I'm ready to contribute to DC.
